The research group Integrative Data Analytics (IDA) investigates motor and non-motor markers, biomarkers and digital clinical and register data. Based on these data IDA strives to advance the understanding of predictive markers, common disease processes, in particular regarding the prodromal phase and progression of Parkinson’s disease. To improve and accelerate scientific discovery IDA integrates different clinical and epidemiological data sources for statistical analysis, develops analysis strategies, validates existing knowledge and generates new research questions.
National and international cooperation as well as the integration of various clinical and scientific disciplines are pivotal for the IDA research group and our projects. Moreover, IDA collaborates closely with research groups within the Department of Neurology and offers consulting concerning data analysis and research approaches.
